This hideout is created in Ginigathena, designed in essence, to live amidst the green and enjoy nature to the fullest. The bungalow is designed as part of the Hydro power plant, for the accommodation of the visiting executive staff.
The structure consists of three rectangular boxes housing the main activity areas, comprising of Living, Dining, 03 Bedrooms and Bathrooms, slightly angled to optimize the magnificent view of the forest across. The two main blocks are linked with a glass passage. The finishes of the building is much thought of, to carry the minimalism of form along with the furniture. It’s done to further the effect of being created to ‘live’ the trees and bird songs under a concrete floating slab.
